FAQ

The practical questions, answered plainly.

Scope, materials, delivery, revisions and boundaries. Anything not covered here can go in a first enquiry.

What do we need in place before starting?

A site that people actually update, and one person who can say yes to a decision. No paperwork is needed in advance: writing down what currently lives in people’s heads is part of the work.

Do you write the content of our pages?

No. What we build is the governance around your content: ownership, rules, workflows, calendars and documentation. The words on the pages remain your team’s.

How is the price worked out?

Each engagement is priced individually in a written quotation, before any payment. It sets out the scope, the full amount in pounds sterling with applicable taxes included, the delivery schedule and the revisions covered. Nothing is added later.

How long does an engagement take?

That follows the scope, so the schedule is fixed in the written quotation rather than guessed here. The quotation also says what happens when materials or approvals arrive later than planned.

What exactly do we receive?

Governance frameworks, publishing workflows and operating documentation, handed over digitally as editable files. Where coordination is part of the quotation, the records of that work are handed over too.

Can the materials change after handover?

Yes. Everything arrives in editable formats, and the handover notes explain how to keep each piece current. How many revision rounds are covered before handover is stated in your quotation.

Can you stay involved after the framework is delivered?

Continued support for publishing routines, or coordination of contributors, can be agreed in writing as a separate scope with a quotation of its own.

What do you not do?

We do not run, host or publish your website, and regulated, legal, financial, medical and cybersecurity services are outside the work. Sensitive internal material stays outside too: general business information is all the work needs.

Something else? Ask it in a first enquiry and the answer comes with the questions that shape a quotation.
